Donna Sandford, PsyD, is a licensed clinical psychologist. Donna earned her doctorate from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology in 2012. Donna has worked in a variety of treatment settings, including residential programs, partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient programs, community mental health clinics, substance use programs, and schools. She has received extensive training in the areas of crisis management, substance use, parenting strategies, dialectical behavioral therapy, trauma, and suicidal ideation. Donna provides a warm and safe therapeutic environment and helps clients to find balance and meaning in their lives. Her clinical approach is integrative, including aspects from psychodynamic therapy, family systems, mindfulness, and interpersonal neurobiology. Donna also enjoys incorporating creativity and humor in the healing process.
