Dr. Prince graduated with honors from UCLA (University of California, Los Angeles) and completed medical school at the Sackler School of Medicine, NY American Program at Tel Aviv University. She went on to complete her residency training in General Adult Psychiatry at the Beth Israel Medical Center in NYC where she also acted as Chief Resident for the adult inpatient and dual diagnosis units. Dr. Prince moved back to California shortly after completing her training and has spent a significant part of her career working with underserced and dually diagnosed populations, first in the Department of Corrections, followed by 8 years as the lead Psychiatrist in a Full Service Partnership (FSP), an intensive team-based wrap around program, with Los Angeles County Department of Mental Health.

After a short time off to spend with her family, Dr Prince has returned to work helping those recovering from addictions as well a cooccurring psychiatric disorders. Her focus is on the whole person - weighing lifestyle variables into treatment planning and utilizing lifestyle modification approaches alongside medication management. To unwind from work, you may find her dancing, traveling, or trying hard to resist an opportunity to karaoke. Dr Prince loves the quote, "Falling down is still forward motion," and strongly believes in the resiliency of the human mind, body, and spirit. She joined the Stein Psych team to offer her personable care to others via their integrated treatment approach.
